Outsourcing: The art of laziness (free workshop)

4:00 PM – 5:00 PM 07 May 2015
Innovation Hub at St Cat's, 2 Park Road, Crawley WA 6009

Outsourcing is the process of delegating part of an enterprise to external agencies (commonly in other countries), to benefit from low cost labor, improved quality, and product and service innovation.

Sandy Chong is a specialist in international strategy & strategic communications. She's spent over 15 years managing multicultural and multidisciplinary teams from Asia-Pacific, Europe and USA, with expertise in cross-country research, consultancy and training.

You’ll learn what to consider when you think about outsourcing, how to approach foreign suppliers and make sure you get good deals, and the intracicies of Australian trade with China and Asia more broadly.

The free workshop will be a combination of presentations, games and activities. No experience, startup ideas, memberships or fees required! Capacity is limited, so register quick.

This event is part of our "Skills that uni won't teach you" workshop series, that will be running every academic week of the semester at Thursday 4pm in the Innovation Hub. Keep on the look-out for more!
