How to Build A Sustainable Empire

Mon, 15 May 2017
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Building a start-up which balances commercial success while creating a positive social impact can feel like an “either or” decision for many young innovators. But it doesn’t need to be just a pipedream, as Jamie Shaw has demonstrated.

To discover how young people are learning to create businesses which help the community in a meaningful way while also achieving commercial success, you are invited to join serial social entrepreneur and founding franchise partner of Zambrero Group Jamie Shaw in his upcoming Bloom workshop: Social Impact and Commercial Reward. This presentation will be exploring Jamie’s own pathway to success, followed by a practical workshop on Balancing Your Business where you will learn to build start-ups which can benefit both the community and your bottom line.

This event is Free and held at the Bloom Lab.

Attendance is strictly limited.

ABOUT JAMIE SHAW

Jamie has dedicated his life to exploring and conquering social entrepreneurship every way that he can since completing his double major at UWA. He has founded a retail clothing business with 3 outlets in Perth and Fremantle, started an entrepreneurship incubator, rebranded a health care business, and became a founding franchise partner at Zambreros: providing 14 million meals to malnourished children while also delivering the burrito bowls that save every uni student stuck late at the library.

Jamie’s current venture has seen him become the founder of NECT Jobs – a web and mobile app platform for recruitment.
