Bloom Curtin: Spotlight on Engineering with Bombora Wavepower

2:00 PM – 4:00 PM 06 Apr 2016
Curtin University Building 407 room 305
Bombora is developing an award winning Wave Energy Converter system, converting ocean swell into cost effective renewable electricity. By having a low cost of electricity (comparable with onshore wind at maturity) achieved through their initial near shore location and multiple market access, increased survivability, lower associated infrastructure costs and shielded power take off design, Bombora has overcome the deficiencies of existing technology developers.
