Lean Canvas: Hitting The Ground Running
BloomLab at St Cat's, 2 Park Road, Crawley WA 6009
4:00 PM – 5:15 PM
Sam Birmingham is basically a legend around the Perth startup scene.  He's the Chief Organising Guy for Startup Weekend Perth and a Startup Coach for Pollenizer, so honestly we don't know how we managed to get an hour of his time.  We're not sure about exact figures, but he's taught thousands of people how to take an idea and work out whether it could be a viable business venture. This workshop will focus on an introduction to the 'lean startup' philosophy a.k.a. "move fast and break stuff". You'll learn how to put your ideas on a 'lean canvas' and get some tips on financing, products & services and your target market. The free workshop will be a combination of presentations, games and activities. No experience, startup ideas, memberships or fees required! Capacity is limited, so get in quick! This event also marks the Semester Two launch of our "Skills that uni won't teach you" workshop series that will be running every academic week of the semester at Thursday 4pm in the BloomLab at St Cat's. With over 30 FREE workshops hosted by some very awesome industry speakers, we've got a super busy semester!
